TracingMagic ("we", "us") is a free, browser-based tool for creating printable tracing and handwriting worksheets at www.tracingmagic.com. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. We keep it simple because we collect very little.
No accounts
TracingMagic does not require you to sign up, log in, or create an account. We do not ask for your name or email to use the worksheet builder.
Information stored on your device
Your worksheet designs, drafts, and preferences are saved in your browser's local storage on your own device. This data stays on your device, is not sent to us, and you can clear it any time through your browser settings.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the site is used — for example, which templates are popular — so we can improve it. Google Analytics may set cookies and process information such as your approximate location, device, and pages visited, in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. This data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
Feedback you choose to send
If you voluntarily submit feedback, an idea, or a message through the in-app feedback feature, we store what you send (for example, your suggestion and any name or email you choose to include) so we can read it and follow up. Providing a name or email is optional. We use this only to respond to and act on your feedback, and we do not sell it.
Children's privacy
TracingMagic is intended for parents, teachers, and caregivers who create worksheets for children. The worksheets are printed for children to practice handwriting, but the app itself does not knowingly collect personal information from children. We do not require children to provide any information.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers that help us run the site (such as Google Analytics and our feedback storage provider), and only as needed to operate TracingMagic.
Your choices
You can clear local storage in your browser at any time, and you can use browser settings or extensions to limit analytics cookies. Because we don't keep accounts, there is no profile to delete; for feedback you've sent, contact us below and we'll remove it on request.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. We'll revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
